EAMCET Engineering Second Phase Counseling 2012
Second Phase web counseling for EAMCET 2012 Engineering admissions is likely to be held in the last week of September 2012(Likely on 26th sept to 29th sept). The seat allotments for first phase counseling had been done on 14th September 2012. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first counseling have to report to the colleges by 24th September 2012.

All the candidates who did not attend for certificate verification and not participated in the first phase counseling are also eligible to participate in the second phase counseling. The process for changing web options had been completed by 12th September and the seats will be allotted on 14th September 2012.

The Second phase counseling notification for EAMCET 2012 Engineering admissions may be announced on 30th September 2012. Out of the total 1,34,674 candidates attended for certificate verification, 1947 candidates did not exercise web options.

The EAMCET authorities will release second phase counseling notification after taking Category B seats allotments into consideration. About 405 engineering colleges have responded to the APSCHE notification for registration through web portal. The online application process for Category B seats will be started from 12th September 2012.

IPE Inter Exams 2013 Fee Dates Extended in AP
Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP),
Hyderabad has announced that the last date for the payment of fee for
2013 March - April IPE Exams has been extended till 25th September
2012. Fee can be paid till this date without any late fee. Candidates
those appearing for the Intermediate Second year examinations will
have to pay the fee on or before 25th Sep.

The student those want to apply for the exemption of attendance can
also pay the fee till 25 September 2012. Both the fees (Inter Second
year exams fee and attendance fee) can be paid till 4th October 2012
with a late fee of Rs.100.

Candidates will have to pay the fee through the Principals of the
concerned colleges in the prescribed format. Details may also

JEE (Main) Examination 2013 (Earlier AIEEE) for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other centrally funded institutions (CFTIs)

JEE (Main) (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) for B.E./B.Tech will be held in two modes, viz offline and online (CBT).

JEE (MAIN) 2013 Offline Paper 1 and Paper 2 on April 7, 2013

The offline examination for JEE (Main) will be held on 7th April, 2013. Online examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013
The examination (Paper II of earlier AIEEE) for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held on 7th April, 2013 in offline mode only.

Admission to NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs

For NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs – Merit List will consider 40% weightage for Class XII Exam and 60% to the performance in JEE (Main) Examination

For Admission to IITs, IIS , IT-BHU and Indian School of Mines

The admission to the undergraduate programmes at the IITs and ISMU, Dhanbad for the year 2013 will be based on a two-tier test. The first test called the JEE (Main), will be held during the month of April, 2013 (both offline and online). This test will be conducted by CBSE. The second test, called the JEE (Advanced), will be held on June 2, 2013 (only offline) as per IIT sources

Top  1.5 lakh  rankers of JEE (Main)  will be eligible for JEE (Advanced) earlier IIT JEE  ( from all categories (GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST)

JEE MAIN 2013  PATTERN
The JEE (Main)-2013 (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) will have one objective type question paper. The paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of the paper will be 3 (Three) Hours.

As it was in AIEEE, the JEE (Main)-2013 Paper II  for B.Arch/B.Planning admissions will have one Question Paper consisting of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test. The duration of the paper will be 3 (Three) Hours.

JEE ADVANCED 2013 PATTERN

The JEE (Advanced)-2013 will have two objective type papers.

Each paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Duration of each paper will be 3-hours.

Question papers will be in both English and Hindi.

Admissions to IITs will be based only on category wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their Boards in applicable categories.

• Objective type Question
• Exam is of 4 hours duration divided into 2 Section of 2 hours
• Each Section has 100 marks and Negative mark for wrong Answer
