AUCET 2012 - Andhra University PG Notification, Results, Counseling Schedule
Andhra University has announced much awaited PG Notification,
AUCET-2012 aimed at admission to Post Graduate courses in AU
Visakhapatnam and BR Ambedkar University, Srikakulam. Andhra
University is the organizing university to conduct PG Entrance Tests
for both of these institutions. Admission to AU affiliated colleges
will be through AUCET 2012 ranks only. The University earlier
conducted the entrance test named as AUPGRCET. This year Adikavi
Nannaya University has been excluded from AUCET. AUCET 2012 results
will be announced in May 2012 and counseling will start during June -
July of the same year. Only AU and BRAU are participating in
admissions through AUCET 2012:

Courses Offered: M.A. (All Disciplines), M.Sc. (All Disciplines),
M.Com., MHRM and Five Year Integrated Courses. Admission to B.Ed. and
M.Ed Special Education also will be through AUCET. AU has several
M.Sc. courses in Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can get applications from
'The Convener, AUCET 2012, Directorate of Admissions, Andhra
University, Visakhapatnam.' Eligibility is pass in concerned Bachelor
Degree. Applicants who are appearing for final year exams of their
graduation also can apply for AUCET 2012.

JNTU Kakinada Full Time and External Ph.D. Admissions 2012-13
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has
announced admission notification 2012 for Full time and External Ph.D.
Programmes starting from the academic year 2012-13. The Research
Programmes are offered in the disciplines of Engineering, Sciences and
Management at JNTUK, Kakinada. Candidates should have Post Graduate
Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 60 percent marks. SC and
ST candidates need at least 55 percent marks in PG degree. Following
are available disciplines, applications and selection procedure:

Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in
written test and interview. Written test will be held by the JNTU
Kakinada in the prescribed syllabi. The complete syllabus for the test
is available on the website. Candidates should collect hall tickets
from the Office of the Director, Admissions, JNTUK, Kakinada. Hall
tickets will not be sent to the candidates.

Candidates who have qualified in the examinations like UGC / CSIR /
NET / SLET will be exempted from appearing the written test.
Candidates with M Phil degree also will be exempted from appearing
written test. But all the candidates should attend the interview. Here

PECET 2012 Schedule Released by ANU
Acharya Nagarjuna University has announced PECET 2012 schedule. PECET
(Physical Education Common Entrance Test) is an entrance examination
for admission to Bachelor of Physical Education and Master of Physical
Education for the academic year 2012-13. ANU has been entrusted with
the responsibility of conducting PECET 2012 by APSCHE. Prof. K.
Viyanna Rao, Vice Chancellor of ANU will be serving as Convener of
PECET 2012.

Applications for PECET 2012 will be issued from 12th March 2012.
Filled in applications should be submitted along with all the
necessary copies of certificates to the Convener, PECET 2012, Acharya
Nagarjune University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Last date for the
receipt of completed applications is 26th April 2012.

PECET is an objective type entrance examination to be conducted across
Andhra Pradesh. Notification will be issued soon by APSCHE on behalf

JNU Online Application Process for Admissions 2012-13
Jawaharlal Nehru University, more popular as JNU is going online from
the academic year 2012-13. The prestigious university has decided to
receive applications for various PG, M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes
through online. As this is the first experiment by JNU, it is also
accepting offline applications. Online application facility will be
available on the newly developed website of JNU at www.jnuonline.in .
JNU admit candidates under various categories as described below:

1) Category A (Admission through Entrance Exam): BA (Hons), MA, M.Sc.,
M.Phil, Ph.D., MCA, M.Tech, MPH, Pre Ph.D.

2) Category B: Direction admission to Ph.D. programmes will be offered
in all schools and disciplines based on written test or viva - voce or
both.

3) Category C: M.Phil, Pre Ph.D. and Ph.D. admissions in Science
Schools except Molecular Biology.

JNU, New Delhi will conduct entrance exams between 22nd and 25th May
