ICET Results 2013, Counseling, ICET 2012 Last Ranks and Cut Offs

Kakatiya University will release ICET 2013 results on 31st May. The results can be accessed from www.icet2013.net. The counseling schedule also will be released by the authorities on the same day. ICET 2013 online counseling will be held through www.apicet.nic.in .

ICET 2012 Last Ranks / Cut Offs: Candidates who qualified in ICET 2013 can check the last ranks / cut offs for various MBA and MCA colleges on the website at www.apicet.nic.in . The counseling is likely to be held during June / July 2013.

Candidates should enter the web options through the internet. Seats also will be allotted through the web process on the scheduled date.

Candidates those allotted seats should report to the concerned college along with fee particulars. Fee reimbursement scheme applies to MBA and MCA courses. Candidates with parental income of less than Rs.1 lakh can apply for the fee reimbursement.

POLYCET(CEEP) Results 2013

Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) - 2013

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad conducts Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) every year for Diploma Courses (Engineering / Technology). The admission will take place through web counseling only, and the POLYCET Counselling Schedule will be notified in the official website as well as on other popular daily news papers after declaration of Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) results 2013. 

Eligibility criteria for POLYCET 2013 

Candidates who have passed SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or its equivalent and recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P., Hyderabad are eligible. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC are also eligible to apply. Candidates must have passed in all the subjects before seeking POLYCET admission. 

Note: POLYCET formerly known as CEEP.

i) Commencement of sale of POLYCET-2013 booklet along with application form ( Booklet cost including Application Form for Rs 20/- ): 27 -03-2013 (Wednesday) 
ii) Commencement of filing of online application form for Rs 330/- from Helpline centres/Aponline centres /e-seva Centres/Through payment gate way: 27-03-2013 (Wednesday) 
iii) Last date for sale of POLYCET booklet and filing of online application form 25-04-2013 (Thursday) 
iv) Date of conduct of POLYCET-2013 : 02-05-2013 (Thursday) 
v) Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET) Results 2013 likely to be released on 17th of May, 2013 (Friday)

Tips and clues to crack CLAT 2013

The Common Law Admission Test 2013 (CLAT) is an all India entrance
examination conducted on rotation by 14 National Law Universities
(NLUs) for admissions to their under-graduate and post-graduate degree
programmes (LL.B & LL.M).
English Including Comprehension

The English section will test the candidates' proficiency in English
based on comprehension passages and grammar. In the comprehension
section, candidates will be assessed on their understanding of the
passage given, its central theme and meanings of the words used
therein, etc. The grammar section will focus on correction of
incorrect grammatical sentences, filling of blanks in the given
sentences with appropriate words, etc.

General Knowledge and Currents Affairs

As far as general knowledge is concerned, the candidates will be
assessed on their general awareness including static general
knowledge. Questions on current affairs will test candidate's
knowledge on current affairs.

Mathematics

This section will test candidate's knowledge on elementary
mathematics, i.e. mathematics taught up to Class X.

Legal Aptitude

This section will test candidate's interest towards study of law,
research aptitude and problem solving ability. Questions asked may
comprise of legal propositions/ principles and a set of facts to which
the said proposition/ principle has to be applied to arrive at a most
reasonable conclusion. Such propositions may or may not be 'true' in
the real sense; yet the candidates will have to assume that the given
propositions are true and answer the questions accordingly. An example
of such legal proposition may be that any person who speaks in a movie
hall and disturbs others who are watching the movie will be banned
from entering any movie theatre across India for one year.

Logical Reasoning

The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the
candidate's ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify
illogical arguments. It will include a wide variety of logical
reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies,
etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

Note: There shall be a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 mark
will be deducted for each of the wrong answers to multiple choice
questions.
