1) Osmania University has announced the results of Ph.D Eligibility Test 2011-12 on Wednesday. The results can be obtained from the University website at www.osmania.ac.in. About 12500 candidates were appeared in 57 subjects for the Ph.D. Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Out of these, about 12032 candidates were declared qualified for further selection process. Results and selection details will be mailed to the candidates shortly by the University authorities.

2) Schedule of Postponed Exams: Osmania University has re- scheduled the postponed examinations of UG second year General English (Paper - II) of Osmania University, Mahatma Gandhi University and Palamuru University. The re-scheduled examination will be held on 22 April from 2 PM to 5 PM instead of 16 April 2012. There will be no change in the schedule of other examinations. 3) The Westlaw NALSAR Inter - Varsity Parliamentary Debate will be hosted by the NALSAR University from 5 April to 8 April 2012. The debate competition will be held at NALSAR campus at Shamirpet, Hyderabad. Over 60 teams from all over teh sub continent will compete in the British parliamentary style Debate.

All India English Language Testing Service 2012 by ELFU

The EFL University (English and Foreign Languages University) has announced notification for All India English Language Testing Service 2012 (AIELTA). The test is aimed at assessing English proficiency skills in the the students, professionals, unemployed, housewives etc. The test will be held across the country where ever EFLU conducts its Entrance Exams for admission to BA, MA, M.Phil and Ph.D programmes. The date of English Proficiency Test is 27 May 2012.

Eligibility: All the candidates who have above 16 years of age are eligible to take the test. Certificate will be issued by EFL University for the qualified candidates. Interested candidates can obtain Handbook and Application Form by sending a DD for Rs.100 drawn in favour of Registrar EFL University giving full postal address. Test fee : Rs.1500 (Rs.750 for SC and ST candidates). AIELTA Proficiency Test can be conducted in any of the centers where EFL University Entrance Examinations for various course are going to be held on 27 May 2012. IITs are the best institutes for Engineering courses in India. There has been huge demand for admissions into IITs Thanks to their excellent academic environment and placement record. Hence the training for IIT JEE has been highly corporatised. The number of seats have been increased as the new IITs have joined to the old ones. Before 2008, there are 7 IITs in the country. In 2008 Govt. of India has started 6 New IITs in various states. There are proposls for two more IITs to be established in 2009 and they were also started functioning in temporary campuses recently.

Reserve Bank of India is going to conduct the Written exam (WE) for the Selection of Assistants on 29th April 2012.It is after so many years that RBI is conducting recruitment in clerical cadre.Since the minimum qualification for this exam is graduation, so it is getting massive response from the students.The Online Registration for the RBI Assistant Exam concluded on 25th March, 2012.

RBI Exam Pattern and Selection Procedure

RBI will conduct the Written Exam for the Assistants on 29th April 2012.Students who have applied for this exam must go through the Syllabus carefully and accordingly prepare for the exam.

The  RBI Assistant Written Exam is no different from other bank Clerical exams and follows the same pattern as we have in SBI Clerk exams  and IBPS Clerk Exam.So those students who are have either appeared or preparing for these exam must have known the syllabus of these exam.So let us have a look about the Composition of the Written Exam of RBI.

The RBI Written Exam will have following 5 Objective tests:

• Test of Reasoning
• Test of English
• Test of Numerical Ability

Note:

1. Each test shall have 40 Questions and each question carries 1 mark.
2. There will be deduction of 0.25 marks for every marked wrong answer.
