Unlike past, from 2012 onward SCRA candidates will be able to download their exam admit card at UPSC website. Yes, you heard it. From now on even UPSC admit card will be available online.
Though little late but it seems that even UPSC is learning that it is much better to upload admit card on Internet, rather than sending it by post or asking the candidates to visit UPSC office physically for duplicate hall ticket. A press note which has appeared in The Times of India, main paper and not in Ascent has confirmed the same.
As per it SCRA 2012 will be conducted across India at 41 centers on January 29 and UPSC has introduced the facility for all eligible candidates to generate their admit card online. Once you generate your admit card online, then take a print out on A-4 size paper, the same also have venue: examination centre address as well. It would be much better if UPSC can upload the answer key of SCRA 2012 exam online as well, it would do a lot good to all candidates.

Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2012
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Special Class
Railway Apprentices' Examination (SCRA), 2012 on 29/01/2012 for
recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical
Department of Indian Railways.
Eligibility:
Age : Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on
1/1/2012. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other
categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Must have passes in the first or second
division, The intermediate or an equivalent examination (10+2) of a
University /Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics
and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of
the examination.
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the
Regulations given in notice.
Fee: Rs.100/- to be deposted either in any branch of SBI by cash or by
using net banking of SBI or by credit / debit card. (SC/ST/PH/Female
candidates are exempted from payment.
How To Apply: All applications must apply Online at UPSC website

Candidates can obtain details of the examination and can get
information about registration of their applications, venues of the
