Osmania University shall conduct OU Region PGCET (OUPGCET 2011-12) for admission to various PG Courses in OU Campus Colleges and other universities in the region along with affiliated colleges. The OUCET 2011-12 / OURPGCET 2011-12 schedule will be released Osmania University. Admissions to all the Post Graduate and some PG Diploma Courses will be conducted based on rankings in OUPGCET 2011-12 rankings. Following is the tentative schedule of OUPGCET admissions. Osmani University has more than 52 subjects in various disciplines at PG level. Total number of seats in various colleges to be filled through PGCET 2011-12 will be more than 20000. Admissions will be conducted to the following universities through OUPGCET / OUCET 2011-12:

1. Osmania University, Hyderabad
2. Telangana University, Nizamabad
3. Palamur University, Mahaboobnagar
4. Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda

Application process for OUPGCET 2011-12: Interested candidates can obtain application forms from Osmania Univeristy Press along with offices of other participating universities. You can also get application forms from constituent colleges of OU, at Koti Women's College and Nizam College, Hyderabad.

Important Dates for OUCET 2011-12 (PG Admissions):

1. Release of Notification for OU Regional PGCET: First week April 2011
2. Start of sale of applications: Second week of April 2011
3. Last date for receipt of filled in applications (without late fee): May first week 2011
4. Last date with late fee of Rs.100: Second week of May 2011

Centre for Distance Education, Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur issued admission notification for various Graduate, Post Graduate, Professional, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate Courses for the calender year 2011. The ANU also announced notification for Eligibility Test for Direct admission to Degree Courses without any formal educational qualifications. ANU also offers MBA and MCA along with Hospital Administration in the professional courses category. Following are details of the courses, eligibility and application procedure:

Admission through Entrance Test:

1. Degree Entrance: Applicants do not require any formal education and they should have completed 18 years of age as on January 2011. Courses offered are BA, B.COm, B.Sc., BHM, BBM. Entrance Test will be conducted in ANU study centers mentioned on the website www.anucde.com . Cost of applications is Rs. 150 (Rs. 250 through Post / internet). Last date for receipt of filled in forms is 28th March 2011. Entrance date is 24th April 2011.

2. MBA (2 Years) / MCA Entrance Test: For MCA, candidates should have any Bachelors Degree except BFA / BOL with maths as a suject at Degree / Intermediate level along with ICET rank OR should pass in Entrance Test of CDE, ANU. For MBA, Candidates should have passed in any Degree except BFA/ BOL with maths as one of the subject at Degree / Intermediate / 10th class level with minimum 2 years experience and a Rank in ICET / pass in entrance test of CDE, ANU.
Cost of application is Rs. 500 by hand and Rs. 550 by post / internet. Last date for submission of application forms is 28th March 2011. Date of Entrance is 24th April 2011.
