NCEI Diploma in Fashion Designing Admissions 2011-12
National Council for Empowering India (NCEI), Andhra Pradesh has
announced notification for admission into Diploma in Fashion Designing
Programme for the year 2011-12. Candidates qualified in 10th class/
Intermediate / Diploma / Degree can apply for this course. All the
districts in Andhra Pradesh have centers of NCEI. Duration of the
course is 6 months. Following are details of the programme,
eligibility, centers and application procedure:

Diploma in Fashion Designing: Eligibility: Those passed in SSC / Tenth
Class/ Inter or Diploma / Any Degree are eligible to apply. Candidates
will be trained in the topics of theory of fashion, fashion
technology, colour schemes, sketching and designing, drafting, pattern
making, tailoring techniques, embroidery and computer graphics.

Those qualified in the program will get certificates. The center has
head office at New Delhi and has centers across India. NCEI has
fashion designing and training centers in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy
districts at Dilsukhnagar, Vidyanagar, LB Nagar, Charminar,
Mehdipatnam, Ameerpet, Kukatpalli, Medchal, Alwal, Habsiguda,
Secunderabad, ECIL Cross Roads and Himayatnagar. Candidates have to
apply in the prescribed format with the name, age, date of birth,
qualifications, address for correspondence, mobile no and nearest
center.
