Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras invites applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and MS programs in Engineering, Sciences, Entrepreneurship /Management, Humanities and Social Sciences for Jan-May and July-November sessions 2016

• Registration of Application Forms will be Open on: 13th September 2015
• The Last Date for Registration of Application through Online: 04th October 2015
• Interview and or Test (on or before): 07th November 2015 to 29th November 2015
• Selected Candidates List Display in the Research Website: 18th December 2015
• Selected Candidates to Join on 06th January 2016

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected on the based on the academic record and the performance of the candidates in the interview and/or test, the Departmental Selection Committee will recommend to the Chairman, Senate the names of candidates found suitable for admission to the PhD program
